Marjorie Rawlings Home
Mrs. Rawling living room, notice the half door on the closet, that is where she would stash her "moonshine", yes she love it.
Marjorie Rawlings did most of her writing on her front screened porch, working at her typewriter set on a round table built by her first husband, Charles Rawlings.

Inside the Tenants House
This is a restored tenant house that was nestled between woods and grove. It was the home of many who worked for Rawlings including the Mickens family and Idella Parker.
Tenant House
Rawlings stories provide vivid accounts of the role her employees, In exchange for thier work, tenants were given a place to live, food and a small salary.
Marjorie Rawlings Histotic State Park
This was taken in the barn on Marjorie Rawlings land, she is the author of "Cross Creek". The Barn was the center of activity on the farm.
